We are currently seeking a passionate and self-motivated 3D Environment Artist to join our talented and creative team to help us build engaging environments for our projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a 3D Environment Artist, your responsibilities will include:

Craft visually stunning and engaging 3D environments that tell a compelling story and enhance the overall gameplay experience

Collaborate closely with other team members, including designers, programmers, and artists to ensure the art assets meet both creative and technical requirements

Create high-quality models, textures, and materials for various environment assets, such as buildings, terrain, foliage, and props
-
Optimise assets to meet performance constraints and ensure compatibility with our game engine

Participate in the feedback loop, giving and receiving constructive criticism to improve the overall quality of the art assets

Contribute to the development and documentation of art production strategies and workflows
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

A strong portfolio showcasing your environment art skills, with a focus on storytelling and attention to detail

Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (such as 3ds Max, Maya, or Blender) and texturing tools (such as Substance Suite and Photoshop)

Strong understanding of PBR material pipeline and texturing techniques

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to work closely with other departments

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a dedication to delivering high-quality work, even when working independently
-
Strong ability to sculpt architecture in Zbrush

Ability to plan and develop modular kits
-
A solid grasp of fundamental art principles, including form, scale, composition, and the effective distribution of detail

Familiarity with game engines such as Unreal Engine 5
